Phoenix cleaning guide
What is a satisfaction-guaranteed cleaning?
A satisfaction guarantee means that if the cleaning isn’t right, it gets made right — a re-clean, a touch-up, or your money back — instead of you paying for work you’re not happy with. But not all guarantees are equal: who backs it, how long you have, and whether it’s a re-clean or a refund all matter. Here’s how to tell a real guarantee from a slogan.
How a satisfaction guarantee works
The idea is simple: you shouldn’t have to pay full price for a cleaning that wasn’t done properly. A genuine guarantee gives you a window after the job to report a problem and get it resolved — typically a return visit to fix the missed spots, or a partial or full refund if that’s not practical.
What to check before you rely on one
- Who backs it — the individual cleaner, or the platform you hired through? A platform-backed guarantee is stronger than one that depends on a single person’s goodwill.
- The window — how long after the job do you have to report a problem?
- The remedy — is it a re-clean, a refund, or “we’ll try to make it right”?
- The process — how do you file, and do you have to argue with the cleaner first?
A guarantee vs. “we’ll make it right”
Many cleaners informally say they’ll “make it right,” which is good — but it isn’t the same as a written guarantee with a defined window and remedy. If getting a problem fixed depends entirely on one person’s mood, that’s not really a guarantee.
How Guildry’s guarantee works
Every job booked through Guildry comes with an outcome guarantee backed by Guildry — not just the individual provider. You pay through Guildry when the work is done and you’re satisfied, not before; the provider is paid a couple of days later, which is your window to flag anything that isn’t right. If the cleaning does not match the quote you approved, Guildry arranges a re-clean or issues a refund at our cost, up to $1,000 per engagement — and on a recurring plan each visit is its own engagement with its own cap. The specifics are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Frequently asked questions
- Who pays for a re-clean under a guarantee?
- Under a genuine platform-backed guarantee, the platform covers it — not you. With Guildry, if the work does not match the quote you approved, Guildry covers the re-clean or the refund, up to $1,000 per engagement — on a recurring plan, each visit is its own engagement.
- Is a satisfaction guarantee the same as insurance?
- No. A guarantee is the platform’s own promise about the work; insurance is a policy the provider carries for property damage and injuries. Good providers have both. With Guildry, the outcome guarantee covers a re-clean or a refund and also reaches property damage, but everything shares one $1,000 cap per engagement — damage beyond that is outside the guarantee and goes to the provider and their insurer.
- What’s a “satisfaction window”?
- It’s the period after the job during which you can report a problem and have it fixed. With Guildry there are two: the provider is paid a couple of days after completion, and that gap is the fastest time to flag something because the money has not moved yet. After that, a guarantee claim stays open for 30 days from completion.
